Sacred Self Care: Restorative Yoga, Mantras, Lullaby Yoga & Kirtan
2-hour immersive experience with Johanna Beekman (E-RYT® 500, YACEP)
$33 advance | $40 door (please pre-register as spaces are limited and not guarenteed at the door).
Join us for an evening of deep rest, devotional sound, and sacred self-care through restorative yoga, mantra, and live music.
We begin with Lullaby Yoga, a deeply restorative practice combining yin and restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and live sound healing. Johanna gently guides you through supported postures while singing live lullabies inspired by global traditions, creating a calming sonic field for nervous system restoration, emotional release, and inner child healing.
We then transition into Kirtan, a participatory devotional chanting practice using call-and-response mantra. Kirtan is a shared meditation through sound—simple, accessible, and powerful—where repetition of sacred sound helps quiet the mind, open the heart, and bring the group into connection and presence.
We close the evening with Kirtan, allowing the experience to culminate in collective voice, devotion, and uplifted, embodied presence.
Also available: Jo Bees Natural Skincare & Sacred Self Care products and curated imports, offered for those wishing to support their home practice and integration.
This is a space to soften, receive, and return to yourself through sound, rest, and community.

Kirtan with Govin Das
Join Govind Das for Kirtan on Thurs April 16 at 13 Moons, the fifth stop on his Colorado Kirtan Tour in conjunction with promoting awareness of the Grand Valley Yoga Fest. Kirtan is an ancient bhakti yoga practice using mantra and music as an expression of devotion and prayer. The literal translation of kirtan is "to praise.” Kirtan is described as a "jewel of a spiritual practice" because of its joyful, open-hearted, meditative, and communal feeling. Come sing, dance, and enjoy spiritual community. For the new people to kirtan/chanting, just bring yourself, no special clothes or yoga mat needed.
Govind Das is is a kirtan leader and teacher in the path of Bhakti Yoga. His inspiring kirtan and teachings encourage the opening of the heart and developing a personal and intimate connection with Source. Govind Das believes that ancient practice of kirtan is a great tool in our modern age to heal humanity because chanting together fosters the spirit of love, unity and connection.
He leads programs of kirtan, bhakti yoga workshops, and transformational retreats throughout the world. His lastest celebrated kirtan cd, "LUNAR MANTRAS" spent many weeks at #2 on the Itunes World Music chart.
